Lulu is best known for her feature directorial debut "Holler Back - [not] Voting in an American Town" a full-length documentary about why more young people don't participate in politics. It won Best Documentary at the 2008 Sunscreen Film Festival, aired on LINK TV - a public television station, and screened at festivals and colleges across the US.

She often works as a documentary editor. She is preparing post-production for a full-length documentary on the political-punk band Devo with director Tony Pemberton. She was an additional editor on the documentary "Gideon's Army" which examines entrenched problems with the criminal justice system in the Deep South and which won the Creative Promise award at Tribeca Film Festival. She did compositing for "Joseph Papp in 5 Acts," which will air on PBS. She was a producing editor on the trailer for the documentary "Someone Else's War" which aired on PBS, and an assistant editor on "Slamnation" which premiered at SXSW.

Before working in film, she put in more than 10 years in news, TV and television documentaries, editing and producing specials, day of air packages and magazine pieces for CBS, NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News, PBS, A&E, Bravo, VH1 and MTV.

In 2004, she developed, directed and edited a series of voter registration public service announcements for VH1 featuring Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. In 2003 She produced and directed profiles of all the Democratic primary candidates for MSNBC.

She has been an editor on numerous hour-long specials produced by NBC & CNBC, including "God & Money," a program about the business of Evangelical Christians, "The New Martha," covering Martha Stewart's business position after her release from prison, "Big Mac: Inside the McDonald's Empire" and "Game On! The Unauthorized History of Video Games," which received a Business Emmy nomination. For NBC she edited on multiple Dateline episodes, The Today Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. MSNBC hired her to edit the hour long specials "Kate Hepburn Remembered" and "Saddam & The Bomb," an investigative piece on Saddam Hussein's nuclear weapons program. For A&E she edited on the 2 hour HD special, "The Secret Life of Vampires" exploring the roots of vampire legend in Romania. For Bravo she was the editor of a charity behind the scenes special and for Fox News she edited the hour long specials, "Rudy Giuliani" "Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism" "War and Children" "Inside Riker's Island" "Assignment Danger - Reporters Covering 9/11" "Deadly Decision - Media Coverage of Live Violence" and "War Stories," a one hour special on the Vietnam battle of Ke Sahn. At VH1 she edited on the shows, "I Was a Teenage Bad Girl" and "40 Freakiest Moments in Rock History." She did online editing and color correction at MTV for "Nick Cannon Presents Short Circuitz."

Other credits include 3 years at CBS editing on "The Evening News with Katie Couric" "The Early Show" and "Sunday Morning," the CBS news magazine.
