Biography

Tianyu (Stella) Shi is a film and media producer known for her ability to bring compelling stories to life through efficient production management and creative problem-solving. Originally from Shanghai, China, she has worked across Australia, the UK, and the US, gaining a global perspective that informs her approach to storytelling.

A graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts with an MFA in Film Production, Stella has produced award-winning films that have screened at Academy Award-qualifying, BAFTA-qualifying, and Canadian Screen Award-qualifying festivals. Beyond narrative filmmaking, she has also produced commercials and music videos featuring top-tier Chinese celebrities.
