Matthew Wiese was born on September 22, 1971 in New York City, New York, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for Let's Be Cops (2014), The Girl Next Door (2004) and Heroes (2006).

In June 2003, he signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. He made his debut on WWE television in April 2004 as Luther Reigns, the bodyguard to Smackdown general manager Kurt Angle.
