Madeline is a writer and director drawn to intimate, formally exacting interrogations of violence, innocence, and complicity. Forged in a visceral sense of place and body, her work eludes moral certainty and resists tidy redemption arcs. She favors stories that disturb, provoke, and linger. Madeline wrote and directed FLIRTOLOGIST, which recently premiered as a Film Shortage Daily Pick and has amassed more than half a million organic views. Her film also screened at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, New York Shorts International Film Festival, and the Independent Shorts Awards, where it won Best Original Story out of 3,200 entries. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Madeline has lived abroad for the past nine years.
