- Jakob is a director and screenwriter based in Munich. While studying sound engineering, he continuously developed his craft by creating his own short films on the side. In 2021, he won the First Steps Award, Germany's prize for emerging filmmaking talent, for his social spot "Forbidden Colors". He then went on to direct the sci-fi short film "S/N:05" and the thriller short "A Man Stands Still in the Woods".
