- Lili Laura Tóth is a young filmmaker from Budapest, Hungary. After she graduated in 2017 from Eötvös Loránd University's department of film theory and history, she was admitted to the 6x6 directing department of the University of Theater and Film Arts in the same year. Her leading teachers and mentors were Ildikó Enyedi and Attila Gigor.
Throughout her university years, Lili showcased her versatility by creating several exam films. Her projects spanned various genres, be it a magical realist drama, a come-of-age dramedy or an experimental documentary.
Lili completed her graduation short film, "Make Mama So Proud," in 2021. Notably, it was featured at the esteemed Friss Hús festival, where it won the Hungarian Feature Film Directors Association's Special Award for Best Film.
After graduating, Lili embarked on an enriching journey through various professions within and outside the realm of cinematography. In 2024, she participated in the Berlinale Talents at the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival.
Despite her recent focus on small projects such as music videos, Lili remains committed to her passion for narrative filmmaking, where she continues to develop both short and feature film projects.
