Biography

Raphael Santiago is a British actor from Haywards Heath, whose passion for performance began in his early teens. At just 14, he was accepted into the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, training under Nikesh Patel at the Laban Conservatoire. It was during this formative experience that Raphael discovered his calling for acting.

With a background in street dance from BPM Dance Academy, he expanded his training at the Gielgud Academy for Performing Arts, studying ballet and jazz and developing a deep appreciation for physical theatre and everything movement based. Combining emotional depth with strong physicality, Raphael continues to bring authenticity and energy to every role he takes on. Upon leaving college, he went on to train at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), graduating in 2024. Now based in London, Raphael continues to develop his craft and bring a dynamic, physical, and emotionally grounded presence to every role.
