James Carabelli

James Carabelli was born in Trenton, New Jersey, the son of Carl, an author and Jessica, an educator. In 2022, he was offered the chance to be an extra in a local television project for Bella Productions. Fate intervened on the first day of rehearsal when the director announced the lead child actor had to drop out and they were looking for a replacement. A quick audition later and James had his first leading role as Giacomo in Mama Rosalina which premiered in January 2023 and aired on Central New Jersey Network.
With the acting bug having taken hold, James began studying under Russell Russo at Monmouth County Actor's Studio shortly after. Within just two classes, he was recommended and picked up for representation.
In 2023, he was cast in his first major cable role as Young Patrick in an episode of Investigation Discovery's Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks. He followed that with a co-starring role in the award-nominated short Beautiful Boy in 2024 and an appearance in the HBO crime drama Task in 2025.
James resides in New Jersey with his parents, little sister and Boston Terrier, Obi-Wan Kenobi. In between working on a number of upcoming projects, James loves to express his creativity through stop-motion animation and various other creative pursuits on and off the screen.
