- Michael J. Banks is an award winning American filmmaker. He is best known for writing and directing Blades of Grass (2024) and producing That Creep from the Bar Last Night (2025)
After earning a business degree and working in sales for several years, Banks relocated to New York City and self-financed his feature debut Blades of Grass (2024). Shortly thereafter, Banks stepped in to produce the feature film That Creep from the Bar Last Night (2025).
