Lorraine is a British actor and voice artist from Lancashire, England. She studied drama throughout high school before continuing her training at a performing arts college in Blackpool and later at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London-renowned for its classical and vocal training.
Following her graduation, Lorraine performed in numerous productions on London's fringe theatre circuit. She delivered a powerful performance in Glass Hearts, a play by award-winning writer David Spencer. Her work in independent film includes several standout roles-most notably in Dying & Other Superpowers, which was selected for 10 international film festivals, including Cannes.
In addition to her theatre and film work, Lorraine is well known for her role as Ann McIntyre in the iconic British soap opera Coronation Street. Her television credits also include Malpractice directed by Philip Barantini, EastEnders, Holby City, No Angels, and more. She has appeared in various national TV commercials for brands such as Cinch playing along side Rylan Clark, Holiday Inn Express, Tetley's, ASDA, and McDonald's.
Lorraine also featured as the 'Bride' in The Streets' music video Blinded by the Light, which won the DMA Best Video award in 2004 and received a D&AD Silver Pencil nomination in 2005.
Lorraine was nominated for a SOVAS Award (Society of Voice Arts and Sciences) in the category of Outstanding Animation & Gaming Reel. The Voice Arts Awards are held annually in Los Angeles, USA.
