Charlie Daze was a stand up comedian who was born as Charlie Douglas. Details of his early life remain sketchy: from a large family, he was brought up in Portadown, Ireland, with many journals stating it was his place of birth; however, other reports suggest he was born in Scotland and moved there at an early age.
