- Sue Bruce-Smith was a producer and assistant director, known for How I Live Now (2013), The Lobster (2015) and Widows (2018). She died on May 2, 2020 in Dublin, Ireland.
- Began her career at Palace Pictures in 1985 as print and marketing manager.
- From 1997 to 2001 she worked with Film4. From 2001-2004 she joined the production company Little Bird before returning to Film4 in 2004. In 2017 she was appointed Deputy Director of Film4.
- Worked at the British Film Institute as head of international sales and BBC Worldwide, where she was marketing and distribution manager.
- In 2019, BAFTA celebrated her career with a special Tribute event that recognized her wide-ranging contributions to the industry.
