Biography

Marwan Rahbani the composer, writer, film & stage director and producer was born in Antelias, Lebanon. Marwan studied music composition under the tutelage of Master Hagob Arslanian.

After studying the aesthetics of dramatic arts, He moved to Paris and Los Angeles to complete his course in film direction. Marwan soon immersed himself in theater direction. This time he worked with the late legend Assi Rahbani in several musical plays & concerts of the Rahbani brothers in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Olympia (Paris) and London Palladium (UK). There has been no looking back since.

He established Rahbani Productions in Lebanon - 1977, in Dubai - 1989, in Riyadh - 2023.

The Company specializes in producing Musical Plays, National/International Events, Feature Films, TV Drama Programs & Documentaries. In-flight Entertainment & TV Commercials.

Rahbani Productions has its offices in Dubai, Lebanon & Riyadh.

Rahbani Inflight Entertainment established in 1996, as a division of Rahbani Productions. The Award-Winning Company is a member of APEX Worldwide & has achieved a great reputation as number 1 in the Arab world. For the last 27 years & have been the leader in providing Arabic, Indian Subcontinent & Regional content to Airlines. Proudly serving over 25 Airlines every day.

Today, Marwan's repertoire includes: Plays, Films and TV's.

Film & TV: Directed two films, a short film "Anything Wrong Miss" in 1975, and the variety film "End of Summer" in 1979.

Directed all his theatrical plays to film, as well as many concerts...i.e.: Pavarotti Concert (Doha), Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, The Bolshoi Ballet (Doha), The National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine (Abu Dhabi)...etc.

Also Directed over 120 TV episodes for children, shows, variety musicals, dramas, documentaries & over 2000 TV commercials.

In Music his current catalogue in the market includes over 25 CDs composed alone, and with his brothers, Ghady Rahbani & Oussama Rahbani.

In Theater more than 25 musical plays for Mansour Rahbani & Marwan, Ghady, & Oussama.
