Born in Rome, Tommaso pursued his education in Directing and Screenwriting, graduating from the Griffith Academy in 2021. Seeking to refine his storytelling craft, he later attended Scuola Holden, a renowned creative writing school, and went on to complete a Master's degree in Screenwriting at the prestigious Civica Scuola di Cinema "Luchino Visconti" in 2023. His academic path provided him with a strong foundation in narrative structure, character development, and visual storytelling, shaping his distinctive cinematic voice.
In 2024, he was invited as a jury member at both the Deluxe Film Festival and OFN, further solidifying his presence in the independent film circuit. That same year, he participated in the Sentiero Script Lab, a workshop dedicated to emerging screenwriters, and was selected for *Courts entre 2 rives*, an itinerant writing residency that allowed him to collaborate with international filmmakers and develop new creative perspectives.
A prolific storyteller, Tommaso has written, directed, and produced several short films, each exploring complex emotions and human relationships through a unique cinematic lens. His directorial debut, *Dall'altro lato* (2022), earned him the Best Director award at the AnimArt Film Festival, marking the beginning of his successful festival journey. His second short, *Toska* (2023), gained widespread recognition, winning multiple awards and establishing itself as the most awarded Italian short film of the year. In 2024, he released *Camilla*, a film distributed by Associak, a company known for working with Academy Award-winning short films. *Camilla* continues to engage audiences and industry professionals alike, securing screenings at major film festivals.
In 2025, Tommaso continues his creative journey with four new short films: *Istanti* (2025), *Nella tua testa* (2025), *Margherita, mozzarelle e Fanta* (2025) and *Corrado* (2026).
Through his work, Tommaso remains committed to pushing the boundaries of storytelling, using cinema as a tool to capture the nuances of human experience and establish himself as a distinctive voice in contemporary filmmaking.
