Rania Kurdi

Rania Kurdi is a British-Arab actress, presenter, singer, and a graduate of the Guildford School of Acting. She has built a diverse, cross-cultural career, with recent credits including the BFI Film 4 feature Layla (2024 Sundance nominee), the British-Arab short thriller Ladies Coffee (2024), and the award-winning Jordanian feature Salma’s Home (2022, Best Feature - Cinequest Film Festival). Her other screen credits include Daphne (2017), Promise (2017), the female lead in the Egyptian feature The Seventh Sense, and an appearance in the BBC series Doctors. She is also an established bi-lingual voiceover artist, with credits including BBC and National Geographic. Most recently, she was nominated for an Off West End Award for her one-woman show 'Superstar in Therapy.' Rania first rose to pan-Arab prominence as co-host of SuperStar (Pop Idol Arabia) with Fremantle on Future TV in Lebanon. As a recording artist, she released her debut album with EMI Arabia and topped the Arab pop charts with her hit single 'Shayef Nafsak' from her second album.
