Atlee Brar is an Indian actor known for playing villainous role in movies like Hum Naujawan (1985), Apne Apne (1987) and Apna Desh Praye Log (1989). He is the cousin of actress Mink Brar and nephew of former Chief minister of Punjab Surjit Singh Barnala.He began his acting career in Dev Anand's Hum Naujawan (1985) as main villain. He had a reputation of being a drug addict and abusing his wife due to which he lost several films. Atlee Brar got married to Nimrat on 19 January 2011. He was in a relationship with Smita Patil's sister Manya Patil in 1984. Manya is now married to cigar baron and social heavyweight Chetan Seth. In 2000, he signed Priyanka Chopra before she became Miss World for his bilingual film named "Good Night Princess" also starring Pooja Batra and Rahul Dev. The film was based on the life of Priyanka Gandhi. Unfortunately, the producers ran out of funds and eventually the film was shelved. From his third marriage to Nimrat Brar he has a daughter and a son.

He was directed a film called "Good Night Princess". This was in the year 2000, Starring Priyanka Chopra, This was before she became Miss World. She shot the film for a month, before becoming Miss World. After she became Miss World, she continued to shoot for the film. It was based on the life of Priyanka Gandhi and it was a Hindi/English film. Her co stars were Pooja Batra and Rahul Dev. The film was finally shelved due to the producers not having any funds to complete the film.
Lost several films in the early part of his career due his reputation of being a drug addict and abusing his spouse. He was dropped from the shelved film Raja aur Maharaja with Shatrughan Sinha. He then ended up shaving off his beard with the hopes off becoming a hero in films. That aslo did not work.
Atlee auditioned for B Subhash's Tarzan and was rejected.
