Biography

Casey Shaw is a BAFTA-nominated producer working across film and television, championing bold, regionally rooted storytelling from the North of England. From a working-class background, she is committed to supporting accessible routes into the industry and amplifying underrepresented voices.

Her recent production Rocket Fuel (BBC Comedy/iPlayer) has reached over 30 million views and screened at BAFTA, BIFA, and Oscar-qualifying festivals. Her credits include Youthless (Channel 4), optioned for television with support from Jimmy McGovern, and BFI-backed shorts including NOWT, Dynamite Dealer, and Predators.

Casey has collaborated with talent including Shane Meadows and Michael Winterbottom, and is Company Director at Idle Work Factory and Course Leader at Met Film School Leeds, where she continues to develop emerging talent and champion regional storytelling.
