Billy Whelan

Billy is a Boston based actor.Born and raised in New Hampshire. He and his wife Kerry, met at orientation for college, both as acting majors. After receiving his BA in Acting and Directing these two crazy kids spent the next few years performing at regional theaters and crisscrossing the US entertaining the youth of America, before moving to the Big Apple to take a shot. Weeks after arriving Billy realized that he was undoubtedly ill-prepared for the business of the business, he quit(pivoted).
A couple decades later, after raising (honestly mostly Kerry) three truly phenomenal children; whom are close to, if not grown and flown. Fall 2022 date night idea, an acting class in Boston. I was instantly taken back to college by watching Kerry perform again with a grin from ear-to-ear.
We were both clearly bitten again knew this creative outlet would become an important part of our life as our nest empties, and they haven't looked back since. In April '23 they found the phenomenal Heather Whitty and have been studying with her on a weekly basis ever since. We also have taken several course series at both takes courses at both Boston and CP Casting.
Billy is excited to share his talents, positive energy and relentless work ethic with those smart enough to give him an opportunity!
