Biography

BAFTA & Rose d'Or winning, Emmy nominated editor.

I've enjoyed working with some of Britain's finest documentary makers, including a dozen films with Louis Theroux. Networks include: BBC, Netflix, Apple TV+, Peacock, Sky, Channel 4.

My experience evolved through fast turn-around films to ever more complex stories of human drama.

Specialising in observational and archive-driven projects, recently with Adam Wishart editing his 9/11: INSIDE THE PRESIDENT'S WAR ROOM. For this film, I was fortunate enough to win the BAFTA Editing: Factual 2022 Award and be nominated for an EMMY Outstanding Editing: Documentary Award. The film also won multiple awards including the ROSE D'OR: Best Documentary.

Filmmaking is such a collaborative art and I've learnt from the many talented directors, execs and commissioners I've worked with over the years. I enjoy passing on this experience having edited Channel 4's 'First Cut' and BBC's 'Fresh' which aim to bring through new directors and mentored on the Grierson scheme for new editors with Netflix.
