- Kathryn Thomas was born in January 1979 in Carlow Town, Co. Carlow, Ireland. She is an actress, known for No Frontiers (2001), The Voice of Ireland (2012) and The Panel (2003).
- She has taken all the London Guildhall acting exams (to Grade 8).
- She has two brothers David and Stephen and one sister Linda.
- She studied Arts (English, Sociology and Information Studies) at University College Dublin but left before finishing as she won the contract to present the Children's tv programme Rapid.
