- Tom Steinmann is a principal of Uproar Pictures, returning to the entertainment business after many years in real estate. In the early 2000's, Tom was a Producer's Rep, selling television projects from music brands, such as "Western Beat" and "Country's Family Reunion", In the late 90's, Tom was VP of Distribution for faith-based label, Big Doggie Records.
Before that, he was Sony Pictures Distributor Sales Manager, based at Ingram Entertainment, the largest Home Video distributor. There Tom created and executed marketing programs for 12-15 new releases per month from Columbia, TriStar, New Line and many other Sony distributed lines.
He had been a buyer at Ingram, purchasing 1000's of movies for resale to video stores. Tom bought new releases from major studios, such as Sony and Disney, and many independents, along with catalogs buys, evaluating pages and pages of movies, one-by-one.
Before buying, he was a Distributor Sales Rep at Major Video and Source Video. Tom has worked for over 25 yrs. in entertainment marketing and sales, across a wide spectrum of products and genres, from music to movies, and from 100M B.O. titles to genre pictures, classics films, music videos and cartoons.
