Mexican filmmaker. Writer of "Salvando al soldado Pérez", "Volando Bajo", "Cinderelo"; Creator and writer of the fiction series "La Calle" and "Sierra Madre" with Antonio Ortuño. Screenwriter of the series "Pena Ajena". Director of "Floppy". New projects include the coming of age adventure "Gato Encerrado" (director and screenwriter), the screenplay adaptation of the novel "La fila india" and the biopic "Velvet, the unspeakabe story of Julia Pastrana".

Writing the screenplay Hombre De Una Pieza along with Celso Garcia. This project won the Morelia Lab Award in the Morelia International Film Festival (October 2005)
Directs the short film "Floppy", written by him and Celso García, and produced by Héctor Osuna (who also was the director of photography), Beto Gómez and Walter Von Borstel. The cast is integrated by Marius Biegai, Gerardo Rodríguez "Gerko" and Lucca Biegai. "Floppy" was shot in 35 mm in locations of Guadalajara, Jalisco, México.

The in-development project "Velvet", based upon the real life of Julia Pastrana is announced, from an original screenplay written by Francisco Payó González and director Celso García. The announcement appeared in an article published in Mexican newspaper "Mural" on October the 14th of 2013
