  • Born in Brazil but raised in Paraguay, Emily is a Latin and trilingue artist (Portuguese, Spanish and English) with dual citizenship (Brazilian and Paraguayan).

    She began to act at the age of 4 and study music, ballet, jazz and folk dance at 5 in a small town in Paraguay. Studied in Irun Dance Crecer, where she graduated as a professional dancer and participated in several dance and singing competitions. At 15, she left her parents' home and moved alone to Brazil to take the University of Missouri High School in Brazil and to study acting and dance at Cia do Corpo Arts Center. In this company she acted in several plays, musicals theater shows and participated in important dance competitions.

    When she decided to become a professional actress, she moved alone again, but now at 17, to Rio de Janeiro to take the Professional Acting Conservatory at Wolf Maya Acting School. After three years of study with directors like Ignacio Coqueiro, Alexandre Mello, Nadia Bambirra, Susana Kruger and Wolf Maya, she graduated and received the Brazilian professional actress document (Drt/Sated). Besides that, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in business at Ibmec; studied musical theater with Mirna Rubin at Casa Artes Laranjeiras, Acting the Song with Beatriz Lucci and on camera acting with Luis Antonio Pereira. During the same time, she performed numerous roles in plays and musical theater shows, like Abigail in The Crucible, Helena in A Midsummer's Night Dream, Coral in Finding Nemo, Ariel in Little Mermaid and Belle in Beauty and The Beast in important theaters of the city as Clara Nunes Theatre, Theatre of Four and Niteroi Municipal Theatre.

    Emily booked her first role in a cinematography production, performing Lorena in the show Just Me and Her directed by Marcoz Gomez on Amazon Prime. As well she acted on independents shorts and feature, she never stop improving her technique. Stayed in NYC for 3 months to take the Professional Acting for Film and Television intensive at Terry Schreiber Studio, and scene study at HB Studio with Chris Abbot. Beyond that, she traveled to Madrid to study on camera acting at Actors Union of Spain with the director Belén Macías. Also, studied mimic, improve, expressionism drama and Grotowski Method with Bruce Gowleswky, and singing with Patricia Evans for two years in Rio.

    With several acting courses, she began to dedicate to production, studying with the director Cavi Borges at ABC Films, and to produce her own films. Emily is working as a producer in the independent feature Don't Look Back where she is also the lead Bárbara with the great Humberto Martins; and is working with the theatre director Alexandre Mello in a new play.

    Recently Emily performed Keren in the acclaimed historical Brazilian show Kings and Aria in The Queen of Persia and currently she is the Empress Popéia Sabina in Paul The Apostle at Record Tv and UniverVideo.
