Allanah Avalon

Allanah Avalon is a New Zealand-Russian filmmaker who calls Australia and the US her home. Her screenwriting has been supported through development by VicScreen and Screen Australia. When she's not writing, she's wrangling productions as a manager, her credits include Better Man (Dir. Michael Gracey), Pasa Faho (Dir. Kalu Oji), and Sweet Milk Lake (Dir. Harvey Zielinski). She's also production managed, produced, and post-produced TVCs and music videos, basically, she speaks fluent logistics and can do math faster than most film budgets disappear. Her artistic roots began in theatre, with her writing and directing work featuring in the Melbourne Fringe, Midsummer Festival, Abu Dhabi, UAE, and San José, Costa Rica. She holds a Master of Screen Producing from VCA and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University Abu Dhabi.
