Mark Meissner was Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, who is a New York-based actor working in independent film, streaming, and theater. Recent lead credits include Rosie (dir. Tony Jaeyeong Jeong), Goy (dir. Mia Makower), the two-festival-nominated Shakespeare at Moonlight (dir. Adele Overbey), Christmas Vibrations, The Delinquents, Tokkenheimer, and Sweet Smell of Success, with supporting work in Djinn Under Contract, The Return of My Mafia Husband, and the festival-nominated Debt I Owe. On stage, he originated a principal role in A Sketch of New York at The Producers Club.
He trains continuously in advanced workshops with Bob Krakower, on-camera master classes with Ted Sluberski, the Professional Summer Program at The Barrow Group under Seth Barrish and Lee Brock, and Meisner technique at The Acting Studio with James Price. He is a member of The Players, the historic Gramercy Park club founded by Edwin Booth. Before returning to acting full-time, he spent 35 years in law as a Manhattan ADA, Assistant Attorney General, and private attorney representing fraud victims and whistle-blowers.
