- Winner of the 2024 IFFA Best Actor award, Joel started his career with over 400 episodes on the drama series Egoli. Following that he has continued to work on a number of local and international projects over the years. One of his favourites has been working with Dylan O'Brien on the Oscar nominated film 'Love & Monsters' by Paramount Pictures. Recent credits include working opposite Bryan Brown on Darby & Joan and he will be seen next on an Apple TV series with more details to be released at a later date.
Joel attended 13 different schools growing up. He attributes the constant "reinventing" of himself as the reason for his journey into the acting world as well as his success within it.
