José Fidalgo(I)

José Fidalgo is a Portuguese actor with more than two decades of experience across film, television and theatre. Known for his versatility and screen presence, he has built a career leading major television productions while continuously expanding his work into feature films and international projects. His recent credits include Terra Forte, Criadores de Ídolos (Idol Makers), O Lugar dos Sonhos, FELP, Queridos Papás, Lost in Fuseta, The Open Body (O Corpo Aberto), Km 224, Auga Seca and the Brazilian historical drama God Save the King (Deus salve o Rei) Throughout his career, José has worked in Portugal, Brazil, Spain and France, collaborating with filmmakers and productions across different markets. He is particularly drawn to layered, emotionally complex characters and believes that truthful performances come from simplicity rather than embellishment.
