Nick Vaughan-Barratt is best known for his work as head of the BBC Events department from 2000 to 2012. During that time he was responsible for overseeing numerous live Royal and ceremonial events, live global concerts and documentaries about the Royal family. Nick was also was creative head of the BBC's Children in Need programs for over a decade. He was appointed Lieutenant of The Victorian Order by Queen Elizabeth II in 2002.
