Sarthwik Bollu is a Texas-based filmmaker originally from southern India. A self-taught writer, director, and editor, his work blends literary influence with a cross-cultural cinematic voice, often exploring psychologically driven and socially grounded themes.
He is a 2024 Austin Film Society Short Film Grant recipient for JĀTI, where he serves as writer, director, and editor. His previous short, "The Road Not Taken", won the Audience Choice Award(runner-up) at Indie Meme Film Festival ‘23, while his recent dark comedy "Organizized" has screened at the Oscar-qualifying Tasveer South Asian Film Festival ’25.
