Biography

Stella Doufexis was born on April 15, 1968 in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. She was an actress, known for Les contes d'Hoffmann (2008), Falstaff (1999) and Gala from Berlin (1977). She was married to Christian Jost. She died on December 15, 2015 in Berlin, Germany.

She was an acclaimed mezzo-soprano recitalist as well as oratorio-singer and opera-performer. She also taught at the Robert Schuman University of Music in Düsseldorf.
