Biography

Jonathan Landwer was born and raised in Chicago and Orlando. His formal education began with the culinary arts and business management. After two decades working at a Fortune 50 company, he returned to university to obtain his bachelor of science in digital cinematography. Impressive work experience includes scriptwriting, photography, non-profit consulting, motorcycle racing, officiating and event management, and now filmmaking and cinematography. Jonathan feels his true mission is to encourage and inspire others. His passion for excellence is apparent in all his endeavors.

Jonathan balances high-level corporate strategy with professional creative arts. He invested 23 years at a Fortune 11 company, yet also holds degrees from the New England Culinary Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University, where he graduated Salutatorian.

Jonathan has an incredibly diverse academic background. His formal educational studies span the seemingly opposite worlds of Theology and Business Management, allowing him to bring a unique, multifaceted perspective to every project he touches.

Jonathan is a certified adrenaline seeker who has navigated the world by land, air, and sea. His adventures include piloting vintage 1960s biplanes, surfing the waves of the Caribbean, and road racing 1000cc motorcycles, winning a SE Regional Championship in 2013.

Jonathan's expertise extends well below the surface; not only did he study Marine Parks Management accredited through Boston University in the Turks & Caicos Islands, but he is also an accomplished scuba diver who has descended to depths of over 133 feet.

Jonathan is a high-performance endurance athlete who holds a 3rd place age-group finish in his very first sprint triathlon. His competitive stats include a 6:17 mile and a 21:21 5K at the Park Ave Track Shack race in 2021, a 1:44:58 half-marathon at the OUC in 2020, and a blistering 1:00 flat 100-yard swim in the Olympic-sized Cady Way pool. Not content with just pavement and pools, he is also an avid mountain biker who has tackled a total ascent of over 66,000 feet at Mount Dora Trail -more than twice the height of Mount Everest.
