As a protégé of some of the biggest names in entertainment, ranging from Johnny Cash to Doug Liman to Orson Welles, Trevor's longtime career as a Hollywood Producer, Manager, and Fixer, shaped him as a behind-the-scenes architect of innovation in an industry that's constantly evolving yet steeped in tradition.

Beginning in New York City during the mid-1990s, Trevor founded Direct Entertainment, a music artist booking agency, while also serving in A&R and Label Management for Warner Bros. imprint AB Audio. During this period, he began exploring film and television collaborations with artists including Gus Van Sant, RuPaul, DJ Slugo, Hanson, and Rikki Lake, and promoted nightclub events during the final days of the "Club Kid" era.

In the 2000s, Trevor relocated to Los Angeles and co-founded Sky-Vue Pictures with Victor Buhler, producing the Oscar-nominated short Chaperone and Lone Star for FOX TV alongside Hypnotic and Doug Liman. Direct Entertainment evolved into a leading management company for reality television talent, representing clients such as David Giuntoli (Grimm), Chris Graebe, Cara Zavaleta, Christine Pyle, Tina Barta, and many other fan favorites. He also collaborated with Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, and BBC Television, and negotiated rights to Orson Welles' final film, The Other Side of the Wind.

As Los Angeles Liaison for the IMIN initiative (2004), Trevor worked with Sean Astin and Angelo Pizzo to advocate for film tax incentives, meeting with governors and policymakers to promote film production opportunities nationwide.

In 2006, he collaborated with Johnny Cash's original band, The Tennessee Three, coordinating appearances surrounding the release of Walk the Line, including performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live: Oscar Night Special, at Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard, and the first-ever musical performance at the Cinerama Dome. He also oversaw the placement of Cash's tour bus at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

In the era of new media and streaming, Trevor has continued to work with longtime clients on music placements for networks such as FOX and HBO, securing recording deals and international tours.

Today, Trevor is a feature film producer dedicated to supporting independent filmmakers, women in film, and industry unions, while continuing to manage select clients and champion creative collaboration across mediums.

Trevor facilitated the permanent display of Johnny Cash's personal tour bus, the JC Unit One, at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum in Cleveland, Ohio where it remains today. It was originally offered to the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles at no cost, but was refused due to a stated lack of display space.
