Biography

Jules Kanarek (she/her) is an actor, singer, and dancer with a natural affinity for bold, complex, and delightfully offbeat characters. Equally at home in comedy and emotionally grounded dramatic work, Jules has appeared onstage as Small Alison in Fun Home and in the title roles of Matilda and Annie, and on screen as Sophia/Other Sophia in the award-winning feature film The Other You. She has also performed with Studio Theatre and Keegan Theatre in Washington, DC.

A strong singer and dancer, Jules trains extensively in dance and gymnastics and has a particular love for musical theatre. Offstage, she is creative, curious, and always happiest when there is a new character to figure out.
