Jessica James is an actress, writer, and producer whose work spans independent film, genre storytelling, and original content development.
Jessica executive produced The Argument and The Unicorn, both directed by Robert Schwartzman and released theatrically following their premieres at SXSW Film Festival.
She produced and starred in the short film Taste, which enjoyed a successful festival run, earning multiple awards including the Founder’s Choice Award at the Wildwood Wisconsin Film Festival and a Los Angeles Movie Award. The film was also accepted into Fantasia International Film Festival, the largest genre film festival in North America.
As a writer, Jessica is developing original genre projects including the psychological horror feature Soul Suckers and the short thriller Hedonism, continuing her focus on character-driven elevated horror and contained thrillers.
As an actress, Jessica won Best Actress for her role in Small Jeans at The Holly Shorts Film festival and received Best Acting honors at the 48 Hour Film Festival for In Memory of Rusty. She has also appeared in more than ten national commercials.
In addition to her film work, Jessica created the yoga programs We Heart Yoga for Everybody and We Heart Yoga: Prenatal Flow, which received Natural Health Magazine’s 2014 At-Home Workout Award and recognition from Fit Bottomed Girls.
