Born in Toronto, Melinda Dahl is an actress, and musician living in Los Angeles. She plays 'Stacie Monroe' on Netflix's hit show 'Virgin River' and is known for her recurring role of 'Annette' in the first three seasons of Peter Farrelly and Bobby Mort's Dramedy 'Loudermilk' Starring Ron Livingston. She also had a recurring role in Hulu's Golden Globe nominated series 'Casual.' She has also appeared in 'American Crime Story - The Assassination of Gianni Versace' and 'The Romanoffs'. The work she speaks of being most proud of are the two short films 'The Get Together' and 'Grown-Ups' she has made with her Writer/Director twin sister, Caitlin Dahl.

Melinda and her twin sister Caitlin Dahl have a band called The Dahls. Their first album, "Midnight Picnic", was released in 2009. Their second album, "Wake Up West", was released in 2013.

"When I was little I never wanted to be just one thing. It was always my dream to be a "Broadway" Actress and a Photographer. I feel like I've accomplished the singing actress/photographer thing, but am still working on getting to Broadway!

Working with Alexandra Breckenridge on "Virgin River" has definitely been a highlight of my career. We made a short film together "Grown Ups" in 2017, that my twin sister Caitlin Dahl wrote and directed, and we had really good chemistry. I knew she was talented and had a special gift because the material was so dark, and yet she brought so much humor and lightness to it with her choices. Acting alongside her has been really fun and playful and something I hope to do more of down the road.
