Dácio Pinheiro is a director, producer, and editor, best known for the award-winning feature documentary My Buddy Claudia (2009), as well as the shorts Pencas de Bicuda (2001) and Transtarah (2011). In 2019, he released his second feature documentary, Eletronica:Mentes, and co-produced the German-Brazilian art documentary The Forgotten Treasure. In 2022, he directed the horror short Lair’s Birthday, which was widely screened and awarded at international festivals. In 2023, he directed the documentary Lenita, which premiered at the 47th São Paulo International Film Festival.
