Ronnie Verrell was born on February 21, 1926 in Rochester, Kent, England, UK. He was an actor, known for Gonks Go Beat (1964), Kavanagh QC (1995) and The Frank Skinner Show (1995). He died on February 22, 2002 in London, England, UK.

Was the actual drummer behind Animal on 'The Muppet Show' in the mid 70's, and as such got to perform alongside his idol and fellow drummer, Buddie Rich, in a skit which would be known as a "drum battle".
