Biography

Joshua George (Josh) VanBatenburg was raised in Northbridge, Massachusetts, in Worcester County, to Sheila and Ray VanBatenburg. His middle name is George, after Sheila's father's name. Josh moved out to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to pursue his dream of working in Hollywood. Starting off, he worked as a Social media creative director/producer. At the end of 2022, Josh made it onto his first set, which was a Santa Monica College student film. The last class for Josh at school. He went on to produce the short film. Following the next year (2023), Josh went on to produce two more projects, A feature film and a TV show (Ghost Show, which was sold and is streaming exclusively on Plex) Going into 2024, Josh had the desire to write and direct. He produced and assisted directed a short film(Usurper) and later went on to direct his first short, "Daydreaming About Love."
