Honorary friend of the city of Tel Aviv, honorary citizen of the city of Marktredwitz, honorary officer of the Traunstein Mountain Rifle Company, honorary member of the Bavarian Heimat- und Trachtenverein Isargau, honorary member of the Trachtenverein München-Großhadern; 1986 awarded the medal "München leuchtet - den Freunden Münchens" in gold, 1989 awarded the Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, 1991 awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit.
