- A former ballerina, Devi (rhymes with gravy) is a proud alumnus of AFI's Directing Workshop for Women, the Fox Filmmaker Program and the Clarion Science Fiction & Fantasy Writer's Workshop. Her darkly comedic screenplays have won high honors in the Nicholl Fellowships, Slamdance, PAGE Awards and Finish Line Competitions and her award-winning films have screened at festivals worldwide. When she's not writing and directing, she chases monkeys around the world with her anthropologist partner.
