- In 1975, under the stage name Judy McQueen, she released the song Moving alone, which was in the BRT top 30 for 10 weeks.
- As a voice coach and producer for the Mattel commercials, she was previously responsible for coaching children's voices. She also voiced several commercials herself and ran her own vocal agency.

Koen Wauters did recognize her and said, 'Oh, Sonia,' but the others seemed to be completely baffled: 'What Sonia?'.
- She was born into a musical family: her mother was a singer, and her father a drummer in local orchestras.
