Marina Mirgorod

Marina was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1984. Got her secondary education in Moscow International Gymnasium. From the age of 10 to 12 years old M.M. together with her family was staying in South America, in Santiago, the capital of Chile, where her father had been sent on a diplomatic mission. During her life in Chile, she participated in the International Pianists Contest, where she was spotted by director David Benavente, who invited her to cast for his upcoming movie. After casting she get the main role in the film, Benavente have to rewrite the script so the character would resemble the experiences of South America and lifestyle of actress almost completely. After her return to Russia, she did not follow the career of an actress, but preferred to devote her time to professional musical studies. After an year in Gnessin State Musical College she got a shoulder joint inflammation and had to stop her musical education. Then following two years to complete her secondary education, she successfully entered Moscow State Linguistic University and specialized in teaching foreign languages and cultures (English and Spanish).
