- Paula Vergara is a Colombian-Canadian Production Designer and Director based in London, Ontario. With more than 14 years of experience in visual storytelling and a background in graphic design, she has built a versatile career across film, television, and documentary.
Paula is the co-founder of Half and Half Agency, an award-winning production company where she has led numerous projects from concept to completion. She is the Director of the docu-series Arrivance: A Journey of Resilience (2024), which explores the lives of migrant musicians in Canada.
She is also the Director, Writer, and Production Designer of the feature film Nu9ve (Nin9), currently (2025) in development.
Her credits include Production Designer and Associate Producer on the workplace comedy 18 to 35 (TV1), as well as work in the Art Department on Canadian productions such as Beauty Shop Mysteries. She is also directing several short films currently in production.
With her collaborative spirit and passion for storytelling, Paula continues to expand her work as both Production Designer and Director, bridging cultures and disciplines through her creative vision.
