Sophie Thalmann was born on May 7, 1976 in Bar-le-Duc, Meuse, France. She is an actress, known for Turf (2013), Under the Sun (1996) and Fracassés (2008). She has been married to Christophe Soumillon since July 22, 2006. They have three children.

Miss Lorraine 1997 and Miss France 1998.

Gave birth to her first child at age 29, a daughter Charlie Soumillon on September 8, 2005. Child's father is her boyfriend (now husband), Christophe Soumillon.

Gave birth to her second child at age 32, a son Mika Soumillon on November 5, 2008. Child's father is her boyfriend (now husband), Christophe Soumillon.

Since 2004, she presents television programs dedicated to horses on the channel Equidia.
