Freddie & The Dreamers is known for Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), Troop Beverly Hills (1989) and The Jealous God (2005).

The band members were Freddie Garrity, Peter Birrell, Roy Crewdson, Bernie Dwyer, Derek Quinn, Alan Rose, Kev Ryan, Trevor Bullock, Giorgio Uccellini, Alan Mosca, Brian Byng, Steve Smith, John D.D. Williams, Denis Smith, Tony Brooke, Stuart Simpson, Ritchie Madden, Spencer Montgomery, Paul Atack, Andy Wells, Gary Smith, Gary Rudd, John Denny Jr., Paul Maddern, Hugh Whitaker, Noel Walsh, Keith Roberts, Ray Barlow, Eamon Carr, Nicholas Foti, Alan Edmundson, Simon Clarke.

Freddie Garrity founded the group in 1959. They hit the charts in the US for the first time in 1965 with "I'm Telling You Now". They had another hit with "Do the Freddie", named after the manic moves of Garrity during their performances. The original group was disbanded in 1969, and reformed in 1976, touring for the next 25 years.
