Biography

Katey Wheelhouse is an assistant director and producer whose work spans major studio films and television, including Southland and Project X. A Denver native, she has built a career navigating complex productions with a steady, intuitive presence and a deep respect for collaboration. A member of the Directors Guild of America, she received a DGA Award for her work on 100 Things to Do Before High School. Wheelhouse lives between Los Angeles and Spain, where she holds long-term residency and is authorized to work. Alongside her work in film, she is a certified yoga teacher and somatic practitioner, an influence that informs her approach to storytelling, leadership, and the creative process.
