Johnathan Tarver, born in Tuskegee, Alabama, is a multi-talented artist whose passion for the arts has shaped his life and career. Raised in Union Springs, Alabama, for the first 18 years of his life, Johnathan discovered his love for music, acting, and storytelling at an early age. By the age of eight, he was already writing short stories, poems, and songs-a creative pursuit that continues to define him. Throughout his high school years at Bullock County High School, Johnathan immersed himself in the performing arts. He starred in every school production, co-directed one alongside an instructor, and actively participated in choir and musical performances both at school and church. His talent extended beyond the stage as he penned multiple plays for youth groups and formed a singing group with four friends, performing together until graduation. At the age of 18, Johnathan faced the profound loss of his mother, which marked the beginning of a journey of self-discovery. Moving from place to place, he sought purpose and direction, ultimately finding his footing in the world of music and film. In 2016, he founded the R&B trio "i3," which went on to release an album and an EP. Their success culminated in winning Best R&B Group at the Radio and Record Awards in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2023. Expanding his artistic repertoire, Johnathan enrolled in acting courses with 541 Productions in Atlanta, Georgia, under the instruction of Lance Camarillo in 2022. This training paved the way for his debut in filmmaking. In 2023, he shot his first short film, A Father's Cry, and his first feature-length film, Tender: A Romantic Obsession. Both projects were released in 2024 on YouTube and Tubi, showcasing his versatility as a storyteller and performer.
