Regina 'Peachy' Simons

Regina Dezbah Simons is a Diné, Nakoda, and Dakota filmmaker, writer, and director dedicated to reclaiming Native narratives on screen. Born in Utah and raised in Southern California, she is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. Her work centers Indigenous protagonists and challenges stereotypical portrayals through narrative, documentary, and experimental forms. Simons's storytelling reflects a deep commitment to truth, representation, and cultural integrity.
