- Malia Dawkins Jennings is a Southern belle making noise in children's media with dynamically diverse and creatively curriculum supporting work.
A WarnerMedia Writers Access Program fellow and Sesame Writer's Room semi-finalist, Malia's writing portfolio includes an abundance of original children's and family series, both live action and animated. It should also be noted she recently produced a very lively and very animated baby girl with her husband Derek Jennings.
An accomplished actress, Rapunzel Jackson, a children's pilot Malia also wrote, is airing on Aspire TV.
Malia is an alumna of Marymount Manhattan College where she received a BA Theatre Performance Degree and Writing Minor and was also rewarded with the Golden Key for Playwriting. She's also a graduate of Mount Saint Mary's University where she obtained her Masters in Humanities with an Emphasis in Creative Writing.
