Wren Valentino is a film and television producer, screenwriter, and actor whose work spans more than a decade in independent cinema. As the founding CEO of Blue Dasher Productions, he leads a multifaceted company focused on developing and producing innovative film and television projects while supporting emerging storytellers.
As a producer, Wren has helped bring more than one hundred independent films to the screen. His projects reflect a strong emphasis on genre storytelling, particularly in horror and thriller, and have contributed to the growing independent film landscape.
Wren is also an accomplished screenwriter, with eight of his original scripts produced for the screen and numerous others recognized at film festivals worldwide. His award-winning work has been honored by the Beverly Hills Film Festival, Chicago Horror Film Awards, Los Angeles Film Awards, Omaha Film Festival, and Scream Queen Film Festival, among others. His original television pilot, Her Other Life, earned first prize in the Fade In Awards TV Pilot/Web Series Competition and won Best TV Pilot Screenplay at the Melbourne International Screenplay Awards, with additional recognition from the Filmmatic TV Pilot Awards and Final Draft’s Big Break Screenwriting Contest.
As an actor, Wren has appeared in more than forty films, including several roles as a voice actor.
In addition to his screen work, Wren has written extensively for the stage, with over seventy plays produced internationally, several of which have been adapted for film. His background as a bestselling author and longtime educator further informs his work in visual storytelling, bringing a strong narrative focus to his film and television projects.
Wren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English from Oglethorpe University, an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte, and completed UCLA’s Professional Program in Screenwriting. He is a member of the International Screenwriters’ Association and continues to develop new projects for film and television.
